Job Description: Pipeline and Pumping Station Draftsman
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented draftsman to join our team as a 7.5 km Pipeline and Pumping Station Draftsman. In this role, you will be responsible for creating accurate and precise technical drawings and designs for pipeline systems and pumping stations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed engineering drawings, plans, and layouts for pipeline systems and pumping stations based on project requirements and specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project objectives and design parameters.
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software and other drafting tools to create 2D and 3D models and drawings.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines when developing drawings.
- Perform calculations and measurements to ensure accuracy and functionality of designs.
- Make revisions and modifications to drawings as necessary, based on feedback and changes in project requirements.
- Create bill of materials (BOM) and assist in procurement activities for pipeline and pumping station components.
- Coordinate with other stakeholders, such as contractors and vendors, to gather necessary information and resolve design-related issues.
