Job Responsibility
- Responsible for administration of Hadoop infrastructure (Cloudera) and other distributed systems like Kafka, ClickHouse, Kubernetes.
- Continuously improve and maintain our Linux based systems and backend environment.
- Perform OS and Software upgrading and patching.
- Manage and monitor all our distributed systems and Big Data solutions.
- Keep up with the latest technology trends in the industry.
Skills we need
- Linux based systems (RHEL prefered) and scripting (Bash or Python).
- Deploying, supporting, and administering Hadoop, Kafka, or simillar distributed database systems.
- Basics of networking, infrastructure and servers.
- Troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with NoSQL databases.
- Willing to learn and adapt.
Nice to have experiences with:
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana.
- Experience with Airflow.
- Experience with containers and kubernetes.
- Experience with agile Development.
- Experience with automated provisioning and systems configuration management like Ansible.
