The Program General Support position is responsible for providing casual support across all functional areas of the OASIS and VESTA programs.

The position will require flexibility and a willingness to provide assistance across a range of functions and service areas. The incumbent will be assigned to roles based on their skill set, experience and qualifications.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Will be required to work across multiple team environments, adapting to varied styles of leadership and workplace culture.
  • Act as a Security Monitor, following all requirements of the relevant position descirpiton.

  • Provide administrative support to departments or teams, including utilizing specialized computer systems and working independently with minimum direction.

  • Provide customer service support, including but not limited to, data entry, filing, answering enquiries via phone, email and in-person.

  • Provide specialized support to a department based on individual skills and abilities where appropriate.

  • Undertake stand-alone projects, following required timelines and schedules to achieve desired outcomes. This may involve collaboration across multiple departments.

  • Provide ad hoc support to departments across a range of areas that may include, but is not limited to, event management, monitoring, food service, custodial, administration, logistics, customer service, maintenance.

  • Ensure compliance with all sites environmental health and safety requirements.

  • Any other reasonable duties as requested

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Essential

  • Completion of secondary school certificate

Desirable

  • Tertiary study at the Certificate or Bachelor level

TICKETS AND LICENCES

Minimum Essential

  • Drivers Licence

EXPERIENCE – Minimum Essential

  • 2-3 years previous work experience in any of the fields indicated above.

WORK ENVIRONMENT, PHYSICAL DEMANDS, AND MENTAL DEMANDS

  • The position is desk based and sedentary in nature, the ability to lift items up to 5kgs may be required occasionally.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT

It is a condition of employment at JDFPG that employees obtain and retain the appropriate level of security clearance and medical clearance applicable to each role. The employee will require a Negative Vetting (NV1) Department of Defence Security Clearance (Australian) or Secret (U.S.) clearance.

STATEMENT OF WORK REQUIREMENTS

All personnel assigned to work shall be:

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Able to fluently read, write and speak English

EHS REQUIREMENT

All Amentum personnel are responsible for understanding and complying with all site environmental, health and safety requirements. While Amentum is responsible for providing a safe workplace and is responsible for ensuring compliance with requirements of the EHS Handbook, each person is responsible for:

  • Completing work tasks in a safe manner
  • Reporting any unsafe acts or conditions to their supervisor and/or PMO/EHS Manager
  • Continuous adherence to the environmental, health and safety procedures outlined in the EHS Handbook during the performance of their work
  • Red-Carding a Job - Employee right and responsibility to “STOP WORK” if a job is unsafe or possess a danger to the environment
