As a Senior Rewards Advisor, Latin America, you will be responsible for supporting the execution of Total Rewards strategy across multiple countries in Latin America, including Brazil, Chile, Colombia, and Mexico. You will work closely with Regional HR Teams to assess, develop, and implement best-in-class Total Rewards solutions that empower teams to exceed customer expectations. You will be a key contact for local managers and HR on compensation and benefit questions and consultations.
Core responsibilities:
- Support our competitive total rewards structure designed to motivate and retain talent through driving a wide scope of activities, including compensation benchmarking, compensation structure management, Global Job Architecture education and implementation, and Total Rewards consulting to managers/employees.
- Understand current and emerging market trends and tools to identify potential total reward opportunities and gaps. Recommend equitable rewards strategies and solutions.
- Drive the assessment of current benefits relative to the external market and advise on benefits design, policy, and guidelines interpretation.
- Ensure compensation and benefits programs remain aligned to statutory requirements and suggest changes to align with legislative developments.
- Consult on compensation changes in the region, ensuring consistency and alignment with our reward principles.
- Understand the needs of the business and provide reward solutions
- Support education of HR, managers, and employees on our rewards principles and programs.
- Leverage data and analytics to support strategic decision making on rewards-related initiatives and programs.
- Provide subject matter expertise and accurately interpret, communicate, and educate HR colleagues and managers on total reward decisions, policy and guideline interpretations, and job evaluations.
- Work with internal communications to develop and coordinate communication strategies and activities designed to educate and inform colleagues about total rewards.
- Collaborate with global reward teams to impact and align on global total rewards programs and improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and additional information:
- Knowledge of compensation and benefits, especially regarding Brazil, and the ability to execute applicable strategies and plans related to base compensation, benefits, short term incentives, and recognition.
- Academic degree in business administration or a comparable discipline, ideally with a focus on HR or finance.
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience in compensation and benefits in a multinational environment.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite with advanced Excel skills
- Analytical, quantitative, and statistical skills with the ability to tell a story with data.
- Must be fluent in English. Additional fluency in Portuguese also desired.
