Security Guard
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Security Guard to join our growing team. As a
Security Guard, you will undertake the surveillance of our premises and the protection of our staff and visitors. In addition, you will be responsible for detecting any suspicious happenings and preventing vandalism, thefts or any other criminal behaviour.
You're a good fit if you are
- Minimum a SPM or equivalent education
- At least 2 years of working experience as Security Guard/ Officer or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of security protocols
- Outstanding surveillance and observation skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Critical thinker and problem solving skills
- Trained in First Aid and self-defence is an added advantage
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team
What You'll Do:
- Patrolling and monitoring activities on the company’s premises regularly to discourage criminals and ensure the environment is safe and secure
- Evicting trespassers and violators and detaining perpetrates while following legal protocols before relevant authorities arrive to take over.
- Controlling the entrance and departure of employees, visitors and vehicles according to protocols.
- Providing detailed reports on daily activities and any incidents that may have occurred to management.
- Respond to alarms and react in timeline manner
- Provide assistance to people in need
- Submit reports of daily surveillance activity.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: RM1,500.00 - RM2,472.18 per month
