About the Position:
Bond University is currently seeking an enthusiastic and talented Library Officer to join the Library Services Information Resources team. Responsible for the provision of a range of services associated with the acquisition, cataloguing and processing of print and digital resources for the Library collection, this role also supports frontline library and customer support with a focus on lending services. High quality customer service is the primary focus of this position.
About the person
The successful candidate will have:
- Certificate 4 or Diploma of Library and Information Studies with relevant work experience or combination of relevant experience and education/training
- Demonstrated experience in providing quality customer service and support including computer assistance preferably in a library
- Experience working with bibliographic records
- Proven ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with a wide variety of people demonstrating respect, discretion and confidentiality for the issues handled
- Attention to detail, accurate data entry and ability to exercise judgment within policy and procedure constraints
Salary details
This salary for this role commences at $61,517.31 plus 17.5% superannuation per annum.
