3M is seeking a Sales Representative for the Critical & Chronic Care Solutions Division; based in Hawaii. Be part of what’s next!

The person hired for this position may need to travel up to 20% of the time and cover a sales territory that might include Alaska & Guam. This position is not eligible for relocation benefits and the Sales Representative must be based within this territory (Honolulu, Hawaii).

This role will represent and develop 3M medical markets division products to include Critical & Chronic (formally Skin & Wound Care) in integrated health systems, independent hospitals and owned or affiliated surgery centers within an assigned territory. Responsible for clinical and concept selling of products to acute care call points including surgeons, anesthesiologists, Perioperative nursing, Nursing Education, Labor and Delivery, Cath Lab, Infect! ion Prevention, Emergency Department, Biomedical Engineering, ! Critical Care Units and all other relevant departments.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Responsible for driving sales growth through collaborative efforts with other 3M Health Care Division personnel including Monitoring Solutions, Perioperative Solutions, Technical Consultants, Health Care Key Account Managers, distribution and OEM partners
• Build relationships with key personnel in the buying process
• Proactively present new application opportunities to end-users
• Offer value added services to enhance the selling process
• Generate leads to new business through interactions with end users
• Understands and effectively communicates clinical / business solutions to surgeons, anesthesiologists Perioperative staff, and other relevant key call points
• Drives sales growth through customer/product knowledge, ability to identify key opportunities, gain access, and to implemen! t marketing programs
• Drives sales growth through collaborative efforts with other C&C Division sales and marketing personnel, distribution, and OEM partners
• Help in the development of short and long term growth targets that align with existing business plans and strategies for greater territory and account penetration
• Takes advantage of new sales opportunities through effective time and territory management

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
Qualifications

Basic/Minimum Qualifications :
-
Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED is required
Minimum five (5) years experience working within a Hospital Health Care environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma and/or Certification in a Nursing Program from an accredited school is preferred
• Three (3) years of sales experience is preferr! ed
• Certified Registered Nurse Infusion (CRNI) and/or Vascular ! Access Certification Corporation (VACC) certification is preferred
• Experience as a Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC) and/or Vascular Access team nurse is preferred
• Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience is desired
• Demonstrated experience calling on surgeons and peri-operative nurses and Infection Control in the acute care setting
• Experience dealing with national contract, including negotiation and distribution management
• Knows and understands medical terminology, processes and procedures
• Good communication skills with the ability to lead and teach others
• Strong computer skills i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint; uses technology, i.e., iPads
